General
What is PDFfans?
PDFfans is a collection of online tools for working with PDF and image files, including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing and protecting. There is nothing to install.
Are the tools free?
Yes. All tools are free. Paid plans (coming soon) only raise limits, remove ads and add priority support; they never lock a tool.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Tools work without signing up. An account is optional.
Where can I see all the tools?
Browse the full list on our Tools page.
Files & Data
Is my data secure?
Most tools run entirely in your browser, so your files never leave your device. Two tools, Word to PDF and PDF to Word (Editable text mode), upload your file over HTTPS to our conversion server, which deletes it right after conversion. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How large a file can I use?
Limits depend on your plan. Free: up to 50MB of uploads, with a 10MB maximum per file. Silver: 200MB of uploads, 50MB per file. Gold: unlimited uploads, 100MB per file.
Plans & Pricing
What will the plans include?
- Free — all tools, with standard limits.
- Silver — higher limits, no ads, priority email support.
- Gold — the highest limits, no ads, priority support.
Paid plans are coming soon, and pricing will be announced on our Pricing page.
How will payment and cancellation work?
When plans launch, we'll accept PayPal and major cards via Stripe, and you'll be able to cancel at any time. Your plan will stay active until the end of the billing period.
