This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies PDFfans (www.pdffans.com) uses today, and what we will do if that changes.
1. What we use now
- Session cookie (strictly necessary): keeps you signed in if you have an account and protects forms from abuse. It is removed when you close your browser or sign out.
- Local storage (preferences): your browser stores simple choices such as light or dark theme. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you, and we do not run analytics cookies today.
2. Advertising
PDFfans does not currently display advertising. If we add ads (for example Google AdSense), we will update this page first. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), we will ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are set.
3. Third-party content
Some fonts, icons and libraries load from third-party content delivery networks. These providers receive your IP address when they serve those files and may set their own technical cookies under their own policies.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as staying signed in, may not work without the session cookie.
