Good to know: a watermark tells readers who owns the document and discourages copying, but it is not a lock. Someone with a PDF editor could still delete it. Flatten pages makes that much harder, but nothing stops a screenshot, so keep your original file and do not rely on a watermark alone for sensitive documents.
Drop your PDF onto the tool, choose a text or image watermark, adjust opacity, rotation and position in the live preview, then click Apply Watermark and Export.

It is saved into the PDF, so a casual reader cannot switch it off, but someone with a PDF editor could delete it. Tick Flatten pages to merge it into a page image, which is much harder to undo. Keep your original file if you may need a clean copy later.
No account. No upload queues. No fine print. Just pick a tool and you're done.
